23 Aug Basima Roshan to Develop and Deliver RAIC’s Financial Management for Architects
Associate Principal Basima Roshan is a recognized expert in financial management. She advises architecture, consulting engineering and other creative businesses on their financial performance and management systems. Basima has an MBA and is a Certified Public Accountant and has lectured for industry-leading associations include the Ontario Association of Architects and the Society for Design Administration, Canada.
The Royal Architecture Institute of Canada has asked Basima to develop and deliver a course on financial management with specific considerations for the architecture profession. Innovia has advised several practices in this area, both when they are in turnaround mode and when they are in rapid growth. This course will help architects and practice owners improve their financial literacy, enabling them with knowledge and skills to improve the financial performance of their practice, balancing the need to invest in design with that of building sustainable business.
